Commonly treated conditions
Being an acupuncturist is a bit like being a general practitioner in western medicine. Acupuncture can effectively treat so many conditions, that in the clinic there is a constant variety of diseases and pains to treat. I love that about my acupuncture clinic, it keeps me constantly on my toes.
The disorders which appear in bold have been recognized by the World Health Organisation (2003) as having been successfully treated by acupuncture. The disorders which do not appear in bold are other common disorders which have been found to respond well to acupuncture.
